It spawns from 1st December to 31st March. When open for fishing you can keep fish longer than 25 cm.
Because of the numerous population in Cerknica lake there are no limitations in term of period of fishing and size of the fish that you can keep.
At Lake Cerknica it spawns from 1st May to 30th June. When open for fishing you can keep fish longer than 30 cm and shorter than 60 cm. At Lake Bloke there is open season whole year around.
